We spend a night with the Ati Tribe in Mount Tag-ao, near the district of Dumarao, Capiz. The indigenous people here have about 49 families, farming, living of corn and sugarcane.
When night falls, they move around and live in the dark. Some use old torch lights and kerosene lamps. The children play outside in the dark, exposing them to dangerous sharp objects or getting hurt.
We can make a difference by donating Nokero Solar Lights which will give them clean energy and portable light when it gets dark. These lights get charged by the sun and light up for 6 hours during night.
