While walking in the slums of Delhi last Oct 2013, I met this child hiding behind the door. This is one of my fav images and I usually like to ask this question when I show this image during me talks.
“Is this a boy or a girl?”
Many would try to guess it.. as how you would be wondering now too. But then my next question would be..
“Does it matter?”
The families here live in poverty, with no source of income, no clean water, no electricity, no proper medical care and during the day the children go out to beg. Does it matter if it’s a boy or a girl?
