I was lucky to be invited and tag along with the Canadian Forces, Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) to DAO, Panay Island, Philippines. A location affected by the Haiyan Typhoon. They provided medic care and treatments to the survivors there.
We arrived at the DART base in a stadium in Roxas City at about 7.30 am.

The medic team works closely with the locals and translator to get the exact info and medical care needed.
A soldier with a local that complaint about chest pains, so they made him run to check his vitals.
