Dear Dreamer,
I know you had a dream. As children we all had dreams and wishes of what we wanted to be or do when we grew up. Somehow along the way of becoming adults, exposed to the harsh reality of surviving adult lives, we forgot what it was like being a child with a dream. It just became… ‘those crazy thoughts’. The society that we are part of tells us what’s right or wrong, teaches us how to live and act as adults.
What you should do to be happy, what you should forget, as long as you can make money from it, do that first. Dreams that we had disappeared in the shadows of this reality based on materials, status, money and pride, it taught us these are the values of true happiness, money equals to happiness. Today it became your excuse to maintain that routine survival of living. The same routine you try to run away from, has became your reality. A routine build around a lifestyle.
Floating through life as part of the others, the child within you went silent, just to be part of something. Not to be left out. To be labelled in the same boat as others, only to feel secure and comfort. Secure with this false reality, comfort from clouded hopes. Moving along as sheep, you follow ‘leaders’ and ‘teachers’ who show you a way of life which comes with rituals and materialistic status. Today you call that normal life and happiness.
But there is hope. There is a way out. An answer to find true happiness. The freedom you been looking for. That dream still lives in each one of us, it still exist in you. Just hidden away. Conditioned by your own environment that you never left, floating in that same river. Yes, it’s never easy to break free, but it’s not impossible. It will come with sacrifices, with selfish goals and with breaking some rules. But then again being human is never easy, but in this life you only have one chance to feel what it’s truly like, to be your own.
So dream on and let yourself go. Take that step, to start what you wanted, to go where you wish too, to be what you are. To break free.
You have given that adult life many years of being part of something, so why not give it a few years being part of nothing. What’s the worse that may happen, the world will still be here for you. You body is a vessel that will only be around a few many years. So use it wisely, show it love, care for it within. Share it with others who love life. Leave that false ego, leave that status, that materials that you never were happy with in the first place.
As humans we have the same rivers flowing within us, it never stops, our heart, our blood and our tiny cells, they are always moving, they explore every inch of your body, your inner universe. We are a moving being, so how could we stop life in a single routine? We were never meant to stay put in one place and become part of that control.
The evolution of human beings started with moving. To move means to learn and to gain wisdom from within. To dream is to move, to make something happen for yourself even when it seems impossible. Break free from your own fears, ignore what society says about your present or future. Only you can choose, no one else.
It’s time to wake up and start dreaming again, go make some mistakes, make new choices and learn from them. Ask yourself, what’s my true passion, who am I? Go for an adventure to find this answers, at times you may never find that answer, but only to know, the questions disappeared.
When you truly find that universe within you, you will walk your own path, to discover that you were always that child, who never left the boat. Now you can start discovering it once more, this time just being You.
